Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Skyler Milks Photography website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Photography Services

Booking and Scheduling

• All photography sessions must be booked in advance
• A signed contract and deposit are required to secure your date
• Session details, including date, time, and location, will be confirmed in writing
• Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees

Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking
• Full payment is due before or on the day of the session
• Late payments may result in delayed delivery of final images
• Additional services or products ordered after the session require separate payment

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 48+ hours before the session: Deposit refunded minus processing fees
• Cancellations made 24-48 hours before: 50% of deposit refunded
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: No refund
• Weather-related cancellations will be rescheduled at no additional cost

Image Rights and Usage

Copyright

All photographs created by Skyler Milks Photography remain the exclusive property of the photographer. The photographer retains all rights, title, and interest in the photographs, including copyright.

Client Usage Rights

• Clients receive personal usage rights for the images from their session
• Images may be used for personal social media, printing, and sharing
• Commercial use requires written permission and licensing agreement
• Images may not be altered, edited, or modified without permission

Portfolio and Marketing Usage

Unless specifically declined in writing, Skyler Milks Photography reserves the right to use session images for:

• Portfolio and website display
• Social media marketing
• Print and digital advertising
• Photography competitions and exhibitions

Image Delivery and Editing

• Images will be professionally edited and color-corrected
• Final images will be delivered within 2-4 weeks after the session
• Images will be delivered via secure online gallery
• Raw, unedited images are not included in standard packages
• Additional editing requests may incur extra charges

Client Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
• Provide accurate contact information and session details
• Inform photographer of any special requirements or limitations
• Ensure all participants are aware of session details and expectations
• Respect the photographer's creative process and professional expertise

Limitation of Liability

Skyler Milks Photography's liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not responsible for:

• Equipment failure or technical issues beyond our control
• Circumstances preventing photography (weather, venue restrictions, etc.)
• Personal injuries during the session
• Loss or damage to client property

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or pandemics.

Website Usage

Acceptable Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws
• Transmit or distribute harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper working of the website

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

Dispute Resolution
